Texas Uninsured Driver Accident Settlement Calculator

When the other driver has no insurance or not enough insurance, the injury evaluation and the available source of recovery are separate questions. This page starts with car accident selected and helps organize the injury, treatment, responsibility, wage-loss, and insurance facts that may affect the claim.

Texas Injury Claim Assessment

Answer a few questions about your accident and injuries to receive a preliminary Texas claim range.

How the preliminary range is calculated
Step 2 of 2010%

Just getting started — most people finish in under 2 minutes.

How might responsibility be divided?

Choose the closest educational scenario. The percentages are illustrations—not findings of legal fault—and the result will show the effect of the selected responsibility assumption.

Your preliminary claim range will be shown after the last question — no contact information required.

The output is a broad, gross preliminary range based on the information entered. It is not legal advice, a prediction of settlement or verdict, or a statement of net recovery.

Claim-specific factors to review

Underlying injury claim

Medical treatment, diagnoses, recovery, future care, wage loss, and daily-life impact remain central to the preliminary injury range.

Proof of the other driver's responsibility

UM/UIM coverage does not eliminate the need to establish the other driver's legal responsibility and the amount of compensable damages.

Coverage status and policy terms

Whether the other driver is uninsured or underinsured, the claimant's own policy, applicable limits, exclusions, and coverage conditions can affect practical recovery.

Multiple policies or vehicles

Household policies, multiple covered vehicles, employer coverage, or other policies may require policy-specific review. The calculator does not assume that any additional coverage applies.

Evidence checklist

Crash report and liability evidence
The other driver's insurance information or denial/lapse information
Your declarations page and UM/UIM coverage documents
Medical records, bills, imaging, and treatment recommendations
Wage-loss and work-restriction documentation
Photographs, witness information, and available video
Correspondence from insurers concerning coverage

Why the result can change

Online tools cannot capture every disputed fact, policy provision, medical issue, responsible party, evidentiary problem, lien, or future development. New treatment, better documentation, changed medical recommendations, disputed responsibility, unavailable coverage, or newly identified coverage can materially change both a preliminary claim range and practical recovery.

Attorney connection remains optional

You do not need to provide contact information to see the calculator result. After the result, an optional attorney-connection choice may be shown when that feature is available. Choosing not to request contact does not affect the result.
