Texas Settlement Calculator ("we," "us," or "our") operates a free, Texas-focused online tool that provides a preliminary, non-binding estimate of a personal injury claim's potential value. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you use our case-evaluation tools, we collect the accident, injury, treatment, insurance, and claim-factor information you choose to provide. Contact information such as name, email address, phone number, and contact urgency is collected when provided or when you choose to request attorney contact. We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your approximate location (metro area within Texas), browser type, device type, and the pages you visit, through standard analytics. When you affirmatively request attorney contact, we also retain the submission timestamp, IP address, browser user agent, originating page, consent-language version, and any available independent consent certificate as restricted compliance evidence.

How we use your information

• To generate and deliver a broad educational preliminary claim range.
• To route your information to a Texas-licensed attorney or law firm that may contact you about your claim, if you request contact.
• To verify your email address and prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions.
• To improve our estimation logic, content, reliability, and user experience.
• To comply with our legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our users.

Information sale and sharing

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers or third-party advertisers. However, we do partner with verified participating Texas personal injury law firms. Using the free calculator by itself does not cause your personal information to be routed to a law firm. If you affirmatively request contact from the specific paid participating advertiser displayed for your defined territory, relevant submitted information may be transferred only to that selected firm. TSC does not hold an unassigned request for later transfer to a new advertiser and does not substitute another law firm if the selected advertiser becomes unavailable. Participating firms pay flat-fee advertising subscriptions rather than a fee for a particular inquiry, signed client, legal fee, settlement, or recovery. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the site (such as email delivery and analytics providers) under agreements that restrict their use of your data, and as required by law.

Contact consent and revocation

Attorney contact is optional. If you request it, we retain evidence of your affirmative consent and may share your request only with the specific verified paid participating advertiser identified to you before consent. The platform does not recommend or endorse that attorney or law firm and will not substitute another firm if the selected advertiser becomes unavailable. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying to a text with STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE; by telling a caller; by emailing privacy@texassettlementcalculator.com; or through our privacy and contact-preferences portal. We place withdrawal requests on a suppression list and notify any participating firm that previously received the request. Consent evidence may be retained as necessary to document compliance even after contact permission is withdrawn.

Data retention

We retain your case evaluation records for as long as necessary to provide our services, respond to inquiries, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us through the site.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our pages, measure performance, and improve content. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some functionality but will not prevent you from using the case evaluation tool.

Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the public pages of this website, including which pages are viewed, general referral sources, device and browser information, and approximate geographic information. We have configured our implementation not to send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form contents, reported injury or claim information, record identifiers, access tokens, query strings, or activity within private dashboards to Google Analytics. Automatic Enhanced Measurement features are disabled.

Google may use cookies or similar technologies to provide Analytics services. Information collected through Google Analytics is processed according to Google's Privacy Policy. You can limit Analytics collection through your browser's privacy or cookie controls or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Texas Data Privacy & Security Act (TDPSA) notice

By using our calculator tools and submitting personal details (including contact details, physical injury summaries, or financial figures), you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy. Pursuant to the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA):

• We process submitted information to provide the calculator and related services. Transfer to a participating law firm for attorney-contact purposes occurs only when you affirmatively request contact from the specific verified paid advertiser displayed to you for the applicable territory.
• You may request access, correction, deletion, or a qualifying sale/sharing opt-out by contacting our Privacy Office at privacy@texassettlementcalculator.com or through our privacy-rights portal. A sale/sharing opt-out is separate from a prior attorney-contact request. To stop calls, texts, or emails from a participating firm, use the portal’s contact-consent withdrawal option or another revocation method described above.

Your rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@texassettlementcalculator.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy
